ORDER ACCEPTANCE POLICY


  1. By placing your order, you agree to accept all terms and conditions set forth anywhere on this site including our Policies. Since Hard Drives 4 Less is a 100% online store, you also agree to remove the signature requirement from the Credit Card Merchant Services and Hard Drives 4 Less on all occasions.

  2. The receipt of an electronic order confirmation does not constitute the acceptance of an order or as a confirmation of an offer to sell. Hard Drives 4 Less reserves the right without prior notification to limit the order quantity on any item. Additional verification of information for PRE-APPROVAL may be required prior to the acceptance of any order placed for over $1,000.00. Hard Drives 4 Less reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit order quantities of any product to any customer and the right to do business with any legal and nature entity in our own discretion.

  3. For your protection, we are not accepting any order originating from a free, web-based, email forwarding address, or non-ISP Email addresses such as @hotmail.com, @usa.net, etc. without your email reconfirmation. Therefore, if you have more than one email accounts, you must provide the one with an ISP or domain based address to express processing of your order. One that can be traced back to a "real" person.

  4. Orders must ship to the address where your credit card statement is sent to or to an address that is registered with your credit card issuing bank. We cannot process your order if you do not enter the correct address, additional verification from credit card issuing bank maybe required. To register an address with your credit card issuing bank, call the Customer Services number listed on the back of your credit card.

  5. We do not accept COD's or International Credit Cards at this time. Online ordering is available to customers within the 50 United States only. We are unable to ship to P.O. Box, APO/FPO, Hotels and International addresses.


  6. "Special Order" indicates a product requires to be specially ordered to fulfill your needs. In the event of special order, your credit card will be charged immediately upon receipt of your order. A $25 or 20% cancellation fee whichever is greater will apply if order is cancelled anytime during order processing.

We take seriously the issue of security. Every time you send us your credit card number and your billing and shipping information, we use the most updated industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology provided by Yahoo!Store to prevent the information from being intercepted.

You may still place order on-line to avoid $5 phone order processing fee, complete order processing to get an ORDER NUMBER, select payment method by CHECK, and then give us a call at 909-331-7879.     SHIPPING POLICY AND CHARGES

    The shipping charge is calculated based upon gross weight of each package with insurance uses the online UPS shipping tables plus $5 (many e-commerce sites charge $8-$15) handling fee on each order. There is an additional $5 order processing fee applied when order by phone (to cover manual order and credit card processing), you may take the advantage to WAIVE this $5 charge by order through our secured online shopping basket.

    We ship to the US Continental, Hawaii and Alaska, all orders will be shipped within 24 hours unless out of stock. Shipping & handling charges for orders from Hawaii and Alaska, if shipping method is other than Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air, will be manually added and charge to customer's account when paying by credit card (Note: According to UPS service guide, some shipments to Alaska require additional time in transit). At this time, we are unable to ship to P.O. Box, APO/FPO, Hotels and International addresses.

    Shipping charges are non-refundable. All return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Any return sent freight collect will be refused.

    All orders placed after 2:00PM Pacific Time will ship by next business day in most cases. For orders require shipping address different from billing, ship to 3rd party, or payment does not approved by bank, those orders will be delayed until additional verification has been completed.

    For any shipment that is refused, or any return that is not in the original packaging or has items missing, you will be automatically charged $25 or 20% whichever is greater on top of shipping charges to cover costs associated with processing your order and restocking. The shipping and handling costs are not refundable.

    In the event that was a shortage or damaged during shipping, please call our service department immediately upon receipt of package at 909-331-7879 with detail information to our customer services department, so we can file a claim with the shipping company. If our office was closed at the time you are calling, please accept the package with delivery person signed to acknowledge the damage, send email to contact@hd4less.com then call us first thing in the next business day. All claims must be filed within 7 days after receive of goods.

    Note: Please keep in mind that our warehouse does not ship on weekends and we do not offer Saturday or Sunday delivery.

    STATE SALES TAX

    By law, a reseller located in the State of California must collect sales tax from buyers with shipping address in the state of California where Hard Drives 4 Less has a physical presence. Hard Drive 4 Less is not responsible for additional tariffs or taxes that apply to items shipped to other states of the United States.

    All orders from other states with shipping address outside of California do not required to pay California sales tax.

    There is a $5 order processing fee applied on top of $5 handling fee when order by phone.     WARRANTY

    Hard Drives 4 Less carries a 30 days money back guarantee on unopened items. To return unopened product for credit, product must be in "as shipped" condition. Due to manufacturer restrictions, product cannot be returned for a refund or exchange, but only replacement against defective. IMPORTANT: All of products in this Web site are intended to be professional installed. Damage of product due to improper handling, installation and application is NOT covered by this limited warranty.

    The warranty period varies from one-year to five-year by manufacturer and product valid within 50 United States ONLY FROM THE DATE OF SHIPPING. All products are sold with one-year warranty at Hard Drives 4 Less (unless noted such as refurbished drives with 90-day warranty) FROM THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING DATE regardless replacement shipping date in RMA cases. However, customer should request remaining warranty (if applicable) directly with manufacturer after the first year of purchase.

    Hard Drives 4 Less makes no warranties regarding product including without limitation warranties as to merchantability, compatibility and fitness for any particular purpose either expressed or implied. Any applicable warranty does not cover normal wear and tear and is contingent upon proper storage, installation, use and maintenance in conformance with applicable recommendations of manufacturer.

    HARD DRIVES 4 LESS IS ALSO NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, DOWNTIME, GOODWILL, DAMAGE OR REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, AND ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH PRODUCTS WE'VE SOLD.

    VOIDING THE WARRANTY: Product warranty is void if the top cover or any seal or label is removed, if it is improperly packaged, or if the drive experiences shock in excess of its Gs rating.

    RETURN POLICY

    Due to the nature of business and manufacturer restrictions, ONLY defective products may be returned for repair or replacement, no credit will be issued, at Hard Drives 4 Less' discretion, and must 100% completed within 30 days from the invoice/shipping date. HARD DRIVES 4 LESS WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS BEYOND 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SHIPPING, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. All return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Any return sent freight collect will be refused. If a product needs to be exchanged due to an initial product defect, you may return for replacement - Hard Drives 4 Less will ship a replacement via UPS Ground to you upon receiving the defective product. Quicker methods of replacement shipping are available at the customer's expense.

    To return unopened product for credit, product must be in 'as shipped' condition. A $25 or 20% restocking fee whichever is greater will apply.

    Shipping and Handling is not refundable in all return cases. Restocking fee also applicable on cancel order after shipment has been made and refused shipment.

    Before returning any product, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please allow 2-3 business days for a Return Authorization number and instructions of returning the product. NO returns, of any type, will be accepted without a RMA number. Please keep all packing material and documentation intact for at least 30 days in case the product must be returned. For color boxed products (retail version) returned in a damaged box will be charged a rebox fee of $35.00.

    Your RMA number MUST be prominently displayed on the EXTERIOR on the package that is used to send the product to Hard Drives 4 Less. The package will be refused if no RMA number is visible, NO EXCEPTIONS.

    CAUTION: Improper packaging will void the warranty.

    CAUTION: Your original drive and media will NOT be returned to you, so be sure to backup any data you wish to keep and return only the bare drive. If you are unable to retrieve needed data, you may want to consider data recovery services.

    CAUTION: Your account will be charged a $20 surcharge for any non-defective return for the cost of Drive Testing, Handling and Shipping the product back to you.

    Hard Drives 4 Less shall have no liability for the loss of recorded data, regardless of the cause; recovery of such lost data; or data recorded in any product placed in its possession.

    To obtain a RMA number, please use Return Request Form. Any questions pertaining to Returns should be addressed to contact@hd4less.com.

    In the event of a wrong item was shipped to customer accidentally, Hard Drives 4 Less will replace it immediately and will pay for the shipping.

    Hard Drives 4 Less reserves the right to refuse any return due to: expired RMA number, physical damage, no RMA number on shipping label, or missing parts including original packaging material. Hard Drives 4 Less makes no warranties regarding product including without limitation warranties as to merchantability, compatibility and fitness for any particular purpose either expressed or implied.

    If a RMA replacement is not available within reasonable time frame (usually 4 to 6 weeks), Hard Drives 4 Less reserves the right to replace it with either equivalent item or upgrade whichever is available at Hard Drives 4 Less solely discretion.
